Fight of the Month: August 2019

This 21" Rainbow Trout was one of the best fights I have had in some time! While fishing left-handed due to an injured right arm...This fish came flying out of the water and hit like a sack of cement. I could see the gold body shine and I believed he was a brown trout. He was screaming my reel and into my backing in seconds!!

Holding the rod up and high, I was able to let the gear tire the fish out and go downstream to net him. Quick released in slow water for him to gain his strength. Fly Fish Tennessee - Get Out There!
