Student - John Scurlock

Former student - John Scurlock- First Trout on a Fly Rod on a beautiful foggy morning fish on the Clinch River.  Making it look easy!!!  John did it all by himself.  He rigged the rod, line, leader, choose the right tippet and indicator and did proper presentations.... BANG.  "Fish-On".   You can see the Lightning Strike brand XL indicator in yellow was set about 2.5 deep to hug the bottom of this stretch.  He set the hook and fought the fish at 11 o'clock for an easy net.  What a great time.  Very proud of him.   Get out there.   Fly Fish Tennessee
